In an innovative high-profile evening amongst product entrepreneurs and inventors in NYC, we asked each entrepreneur to bring a product they had created to the dinner. With the unveiling of each product, we all discussed product creation, distribution and scaling sales.
The evening's featured speaker, saw Rachel Shechtman, the founder of STORY, rise to the occasion. Rachel gave us a rare glimpse into the launch of STORY, a 2000 sq. ft retail concept in Chelsea; a space that has the point of view of a magazine, changes like a gallery and sells things like a store. STORY was recently was no. 4 in Time Out’s Top 15 NY Shops List, and its new model has generated extensive press, with Rachel being named one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People in Business and Fortune Magazine’s 40 under 40.
